Seaport Campus is still doing the bread runs to the homeless shelters, and elderly homes. We would like to keep helping our community, but its kind of hard to find different kinds of things because of all our school work, and field trips. We think it would be easier for us to help the community if we had some help finding things. There may be things we definitely can do and things we can't. We would really appreciate suggestions and advise of things we could do to help out.

Seaport has also been recycling newspapers and paper that we use in the classroom. We are able to fill a big recycling bin each week. The project class is in charge of bringing the bin in and out and making sure all smaller bins from different locations around the school are emptied.
In project class, we thought it was important to recycle because we noticed the amount of recyclable materials that we were throwing away. As a teacher for the project class I am pleased to say that this initiative has been very successful.
